The Center of Excellence in Sustainability (CoES) will participate in the consortium of the ERASMUS+ (KA220-HED – Cooperation partnerships in higher education) after winning a grant project entitled: SDG4U (Engaging SDGs for Transformative Education and Enhanced Sustainability in Universities).
A main priority of the project is to stimulate innovative learning and teaching practices through engaging Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for transformative education, which leads to enhanced sustainability in universities at all levels.
The proposal was submitted by the CoES through The American College of Greece Research Center (ACG-RC), with the participation of faculty members from the ACG School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Senior Manager for Sustainability, Office of Public Affairs. The project consortium is the University of Athens (NKUA – Coordinator) (GR), Panteion University (GR), The American College of Greece (GR), University of Murcia (ES), University of Cork (IR), UniMed (IT). The scientist responsible for The American College of Greece is Dr. Stella Apostolaki, the CoES Executive Director.
