ACG to participate in the Delphi Economic Forum as educational partner
With Thursday February 28 approaching, the Delphi Economic Forum is around the corner and ACG has a major role to play as the event’s sole educational partner! This year’s event is themed “The Challenge of Inclusive Growth” and the Forum is expected to attract important personalities from the academic, business and political world.
Thanks to ACG’s partnership with the Delphi Economic Forum, 45 Deree students will enjoy the unique and exclusive privilege to attend the Forum and get exposed to new innovative ideas for socially responsible growth policies concerning Greece and the wider region. Attending students were carefully selected to equally represent all majors and schools of Deree – The American College of Greece.
Delphi Economic Forum is a nonprofit organization that examines and addresses interesting issues that concern contemporary society. This year’s topics include Greece’s need for structural reforms and new leadership strategies, as well potential new models of governance. More topics will have to do with the global trends and their implications and policy options confronting decision-makers of the wider Eastern Mediterranean Region.
The Forum attracts prestigious speakers from various sectors thus establishing an opportunity for all of them to meet and network. Some of the high-level names this year are H.E. Prokopios Pavlopoulos President of the Hellenic Republic, H.E Alexis Tsipras Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Geoffrey Pyatt United States Ambassador to Greece and more.
