Paint in(g) Cinema: Surrealist spaces and narratives
A two-day festival dedicated to the surrealist understanding of space and narrative in cinema
Curated by: the Art History Society in collaboration with the Visual Arts Society and the Film Club of Deree – The American College of Greece
The curatorial selection of the festival focuses on short to mid-length experimental motion pictures. From David Lynch to Salvador Dalí, this festival will navigate the audience through the world of diverse surrealist approaches in cinema. Screenings will be followed by a post-reflective discussion led by Dr. Sotirios Bahtsetzis, Curator and Art History Professor at Deree.
Free entrance. Refreshments and snacks will also be available to the audience.
